Is it done yet???

No, it sure isn’t.  It’s closer though and it’s getting to the useable state!

So all we have multiple work surfaces now, all nicely trimmed out.  One shelf section is off the wall, the other will come down and be replaced with something else.

Still more to sort though…

Man Cave Update..

I guess technically this isn’t his entire ‘man cave’ in all fairness most of the basement is his ‘man cave’.  Yes my workout stuff is down there and currently my beekeeping equipment is there as well (still looking for my garden shed!).  BUT his bar, his second TV, his foosball table and his entire workshop occupy the rest of the space.  Just as it should be!

At first glance it doesn’t look like much has happened, but maybe you don’t remember the massive cabinet on the wall.  Well that giant is now on the other side of the room.

He also built the top for his new cabinets which is very nice and now I’ll actually be able to reach the stuff on the wall.  So many times he asked me to get him something and I couldn’t reach because the other workbench was so deep!
Slowly, the vision is coming to life!

Progress in the man cave!

It’s slow going down there, at least though it’s going.  I know how it is though, you want it just so as you don’t want to have to do it again!

So this cube and that piece of our old kitchen counter top are going to be an ‘assembly’ table.

See that small piece of wood attached to the wall, that’s where the in house vac was.  Now it’s in the corner giving him more space.

He had to do a little rerouting of the vac lines in the ceiling.

There’s the finished result tucked nicely in the corner!
